WHAT WE DO
Bof! is a four-piece band specializing in traditional French and Breton music for dancing and listening to. We have played in folk clubs, for dance groups and at festivals in England and France, as well as organising regular workshops and public dances in East Anglia, as part of Prêt à danser group.
We are also involved in the running of Hadleigh Folk Club’s French Music and Dance Weekend which takes place every spring.
Our repertoire, which combines instrumentals and songs, is mainly traditional music from Central France and Brittany, but also includes more recent compositions, by members of the band and other.We have made five CD recordings, all of which are available from our website.

Concert spots from 30 minutes to full-length folk club sets (2 x 45 minutes)

as the bourrée and from Brittany, such as the gavotte
French music and dance workshops from beginner to advanced – including work in schools.
